TEXAS ASA District 14
The Texas Amateur Softball Association is incorporated under the laws of the State of Texas as a non-profit organization whose objectives are to promote organized amateur softball in the State of Texas for all persons regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sex, national origin, or ancestry; to establish uniform softball rules and regulations that can be observed by all members; to educate and train in the proper skills of amateur softball play and rules by promoting, organizing, and conducting clinics, seminars, and training courses.
Texas ASA is the area of Texas not located in the geographic area of Dallas, Ft. Worth, San Antonio, and Houston. These are called "metro" areas and each has its own ASA organization that is responsible for the ASA operation in that metro to the Amateur Softball Association of America.
District 14 is composed of Texas counties including Montgomery, Polk, San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker, and parts of Liberty county.
Adult: For a listing of qualifications and procedures for ASA adult National Qualifiers, see the ASA Code, Article 513.
Youth: One national qualifier per region in each age group in Girls' Class A Fast Pitch, Girls' Class A Slow Pitch, and Girls' 18-Under Gold Fast Pitch.
Youth: The ASA shall conduct one National Tournament in each age classification in Girls Class A and Class B Fast Pitch. These National Tournaments are open to teams within the National Tournament territory (Eastern, Northern, Southern, Western) who have not qualified for the USA Softball/ASA Girls Class A National Championship Finals.
Adult: The ASA shall conduct four National Championship Finals in Men's Class C and D Slow Pitch, Women's Class C and D Slow Pitch, and Co-Ed Class C and D Slow Pitch.
